Shannon Chiarcos is a design manager at General Motors for the Center of Excellence. She has worked collaboratively with her peers to scale the Customer Experience Design Studio at General Motors from eight to just under one hundred. She is passionate about evolving the teams design maturity and facilitating the teams transition to a software and service based organization.
Shannon has committed to building diversity within the design team because talent can come from anywhere and different perspectives make stronger ideas. She follows the principles of servant leadership and finds fulfillment in mentoring and growing the careers of others.
When not working on design she enjoys reading, yoga, skiing, craft beer and spending time with her family in Rochester, Mi.
